(August 2015)
Our family stayed at The Buck Rack Chalet for a week while in Munising, Mi. and we had such a nice stay. We loved the cabin so much that I thought I'd share a little about it! Upon arriving, we were pleasantly surprised to find the cabin was located at the end of a dirt road on the lake with only one nearby neighbor.
Down the short hallway was 2 bedrooms, a nice bathroom and access to the basement. Directly adjacent to the kitchen was the living room with a beautiful fireplace and floor to ceiling windows.
Above, is the loft, a nice size bathroom and one bedroom with 4 twin beds. This room could't have been more perfect for the boys!
Down by the lake was pretty and we had some great fires and nice canoe rides around the island but we were sadly disappointed by the fishing, the boys only caught a few young catfish. We eventually found a nearby lake to fish at (Pete's Lake in Wetmore).
This was the beautiful sunset the first night of our stay.
Just before sunset on another night a storm had rolled through and left a gorgeous pink & blue sky!
We hung out at the house quite a bit during our week long stay (due to rain) but we also explored Munising a little. We'll be posting about places of note in the coming weeks and will update the links below as we go.
Thanks for reading!
